Today we are going to look at setting smart goals.

Now that you know how to set smart goals, I’m going to ask you to set some short, medium and long term goals using the SMART goal strategy. Click here to access the organizer.

I guess before you create your SMART goals, you should really know what your strengths are since you’re going to use your strengths to help you be successful.

Take this quick multiple choice quiz to determine your strengths and then go and create your Smart Goals using the graphic organizer.

I think that the video is very inspirational and that he has the ability to motivate anyone to do anything, and to prove that anything is possible if you just dont give up & put your mind to it.

In my opinion I think Nick is a very brave person. I say this because when people become disabled they intend to isolate themselves from the community and into there a corner where they get so use to it, that they end up being so isolated from the outside world that they might not know about the changes in weather, people’s personality. In his statement he states, “What do you do if you fall? You get up right” Which clearly states that if you are at a low point in your life, you do not need to isolate your self and have low self-esteem but you need to work even more hard but DO NOT GIVE UP no matter what people say because of your disability. Once you give up your life just changes its pattern and you intend to become more depressed, and worried about what you are going to do with your future at stake. In my opinion, setting goals is a great idea, because than it shows that the person is taking responsibility about their future, and know what they want to do with their life, such as maybe some one becoming a singer, they might practice singing everyday and working on their writing. If someone was average, but sadly he became disabled after a car accident he might decide to think over about his future or might decide to face it and show that anything is possible whether you are average or different in body shape.

Nick made me rethink about how people can still make it in life even if they don’t have arms or legs or any other thing, they can still make it. it made me think of how lucky i am to be a normal person and it made me know that people with disabilities are still people and you shouldnt treat them any different then a regular person. never treat them any different.
